J is for Jet Lag
In May 2021, we got to ‘J is for Jet Lag’
We started this webinar by exploring what jet lag is and some of the common symptoms that people experience. Typically jet lag is experienced when taking a long haul flight, but as we explored in the webinar there are other situations when it can affect you as well.
Following this both Stanford and Colin shared what they have found, in their experience, to help reduce the effects of jet lag. This included what to eat, drink and do whenever you're taking a long flight. They went into a lot of details sharing lots of things you can do to reduce the effect of jet lag.

"According to Yoga, jet lag is an inevitable part of travel. Not only is it inevitable but travelling through the air at high speed in a pressurised container will have a different effect on someone depending on their constitution. The key question is what can we do to prepare before we travel? What do we do during the journey to best help ourselves? And how do we deal with it after we land? In this webinar, we will be looking to explore these three key areas according to yoga and individual constitution." - Colin
"Since COVID-19 and lockdown, international travel has become a novelty again. Do you remember the days when it was easy to travel through more than 3 time zones without batting an eyelid (or taking a COVID test?)? I think it is fair to say that most people have experienced jet lag but what is the best way to prevent and manage it? The upcoming webinar will be all about jet lag and the associated physical issues." - Stanford
